Delete your WeMates account

Permanently remove your account and the personal data associated with it.

Delete your account in the app

    Open WeMates and sign in.

  2. 2

    Open Profile, then find Account & data.

  3. 3

    Select Permanently delete account.

  4. 4

    Review the warning and confirm the deletion when asked.

Account deletion is permanent. Once confirmed, you will be signed out and the account cannot be recovered.

Cannot access the app?

Send a request from the email address associated with your account. We may ask you to verify ownership before processing the request. Verified requests are completed within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your account credentials, authentication tokens and profile information.
  • Your profile photo and other uploaded media.
  • Events you created and their related invitations, attendance records, chats and reviews.
  • Your messages, reviews and participation records associated with the account.

Retention

Data is removed from active systems when deletion is processed. Residual copies may remain in encrypted, access-restricted backups for up to 30 days before automatic deletion. We may retain limited records for longer only when required by law, fraud prevention or security obligations.
