Delete your WeMates data

Submit a data deletion request

Email us from the address associated with your WeMates account. State which data you want deleted—for example, profile information, uploaded media, messages or reviews—and include the email address used for the account.

We may ask you to verify account ownership. Verified requests are completed within 30 days, and we will confirm when processing is complete.

Delete everything instead

To remove your account and all associated data, use the in-app deletion flow or follow the complete account deletion instructions.

Data covered by a request

• Profile details, preferences and location information you provided.
• Profile photos and other uploaded media.
• Messages, reviews, event content and participation records.
• Device tokens and other identifiers associated with your account.

Retention and exceptions

Approved data is removed from active systems when the request is processed. Residual copies may remain in encrypted, access-restricted backups for up to 30 days before automatic deletion. Certain limited records may be retained for longer only when required by law, fraud prevention or security obligations.
